My dad has started working on his W111 again. It had some trouble starting before but he got it running last week. Things seem to going well with it, hopefully it'll be on the road soon.

He washed it today and since I haven't taken any new photos of my car I figured I'd post his..... cause its cool.

Before you ask, yes he is going to remove the retarded add on mirrors. The previous owner was a bit... senile.

Also quite gorgeous. Except for those silly mirrors

Absolutely beautiful car. The idea of someone drilling into those doors to install those side mirrors is making me cringe though.

That is one classy automobile. The color combination especially makes it look very handsome, dare I say even better than full black.

so some head backed into me while I was leaving a parking lot and drove off before I even knew what happened. Luckily the dent popped right back out (hooray old non-plastic cars) but there are a few little warp marks in the body work now :/

I really need to wash it...

And a pic of all the (interesting) cars we have

    RRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHH

I hate those people with a passion. I feel your pain. I washed my car today and the damage done by a similar asshat became even more visible.

Painless Dent Repair might be able to fix it completely though.

Nothing new with the Benz really, apart from my new Historic Vehicle license plate, which I think looks fantastic on the car. I took it up Mt.Lemmon, the place where Tucsonans go to see the elusive element known as "snow."

I'm guessing the VR makes all the difference!

Well, a lot of your photos also exhibit a high contrast and rich colour environment that's similar to official photos. It's a great look.

Well, the W108 has had its first major mechanical issue. It started dumping coolant when I parked outside a friends house. I thought maybe it was just a hose at first but it looks like the waterpump went. Its not the end of the world, a new waterpump is on the way from peachparts and should be here tomorrow. The benz should be back on the road by friday!
