    [04x03] July 30th, 2021 - Lochdown

cool topic, I liked the political ending. I thought that was smart. Otherwise a bit bland. Like so many more recent episodes, there is no sense of real adventure like Vietnam, Bolivia, Botswana. The sense of journey or discovery is gone. It is drive A to B for some scripted task. I bet...

    [03x14] April 11, 2019 - Funeral for a Ford

Have some good school memories of various mondeos in the 90s :) Good show.

[03x13] April 5, 2019 - GT Special: Survival of the Fattest

The scenery was spectacular, but the episode was a bit boring and repetitive. The sense of adeventure was pretty good though, I still like Vietnam, Botswana and Polar special, as well as the Bolivia/south america ep a lot more though. Also is John somehow equipped with an infinite petrol tank?

    [03x10] March 15, 2019 - The Youth Vote

Shaping up to be a good series this year. I think it is a healthy mix of everything. Reminds me of old Top Gear.

    [03x02] - January 25, 2019 - Colombia Special Part 1

Better than last week! I like the subtle cocaine references. It is like they were told you can associate Columbia with anything but not Cocaine. And they were like Yeah but I mean.... NOOOO. So they went to donkey fucking instead :D However it seems a little stressful for them as they age.

    [03x01] - January 18, 2019 - Motown Funk

Lame. Zero emotional connection or story telling or passion or connection with any real car. Some tuner cars and a hyper car showcased. Somewhat fun to watch. But also completely irrelevant. You use to get this with some of the specials and some of the "regular" car reviews, which were far...

    [2x11] - February 16, 2018 - Feed the World

Beautiful scenery. Dragged on a bit though. The premise was rather noble. Too bad it ended up just being 3 cunts flying off in a helicopter being disrespectful to the local people. At least pretend you achieved something. Or have some sort of message. All things considered still better than...

Dumb. Whats funny about pretending to kill sheep and actually killing a subaru? I enjoyed Bill Bailey and James UP segment.

    The "New Toys" Thread

Not so much. Not that hard to open, fairly modular, just need to know about long screw damage when reassembling the display bracket. Display replacement is straightforward if the home button is not damaged. Also not even that expensive considering the price of the phones. With samsung edge...

In Austria, Scenario 1: Shotgun guy, points at you with the gun, you shoot. All in the clear. Self-defense. Threat was imminent! Scenario 2: Shotgun guy approaches your buddy being beaten and points at him with the gun, you shoot. All in the clear, justifiable action for protection of others...

    Last movie you saw?

Dunkirk. It's more of a documentary in film. It has no story to tell and no characters. Also it rivals waterworld in ocean footage. Boring from beginning to end. Saving private ryan or Hacksaw Ridge are much more gripping and engaging.

Isn't the success of the glocks just their utilitarian design and no extra features as well as that two piece trigger? That and maybe just giving out big discounts to gov agencies. Although the 1911's have a two stage system if you count the grip safety which has been around forever. I wouldn't...
