But now it has a smaller, angrier face instead of a big friendly one. I suppose that could be fitting for intense flying, though.

News: Self-driving shuttle crashes in Las Vegas hours after launch

As far as predicting behavior, my understanding is that the Waymo(google) cars are pretty good at it. They have something like 3 million real-world miles driven with single or low double-digit accident, and, iirc, arguably at fault for only one - the time it expected a bus to let it out and...

    Unveiled: 2018 Nissan Leaf

I see all of them around here, too(plus an i8), and while I don't make a point to check the plates I tend to notice gov plates and none of them have had one. I think. That being said, is something being primarily a gov/rental car all that bad for an automaker? Profits on each are certainly...

I fear this thread is closing in on general agreement. We should lock it before it forms a black hole or something.

    The "New Toys" Thread

I am thoroughly enjoying Robo Recall and Superhot. I'll get around to trying pCARS at some point if I can be arsed to get the wheel from wherever I've put it. I do want to play Elite Dangerous and Eve Valkyrie, but I kind of want to wait until I can justify buying a HOTAS to go with it. Also...

Physical media is the only way to get the best available quality when it comes to video. I buy BR then rip at full quality to enjoy over the network. EDIT: but to be honest, it's not like I actually obsess over every visual detail, but I figure if something is worth owning, it's worth owning...

    Doctor Who

This is my concern as well. But, we have a new writer, who has experience with the new Doctor, so it may all turn out well. It may also turn out poorly. I'll probably watch all of it either way. I am disappointed that Capaldi didn't have a chance to be on with actual good writing, though.

    The "New Toys" Thread

Adding o-rings will reduce overall travel a bit and quiet them down, though some people don't prefer the slightly different feel they give. As for the potential for issues with buying different key caps later on, the one set I've purchased came with, iirc, three different sizes for space bar and...

I have the same thing at work with blue switches. I don't have room for a full(proper) keyboard, but numpad is a necessity. I would prefer not having to turn numlock on/off to use arrows and delete, but I've already gotten used to it.
