Wow, the editing in the intro for the shootout was some of the most overdone and annoying editing I've ever seen on television.

I'm in total agreement. I would gladly watch a show that was in the same format as the series 8 and 9. That was a good car show. Especially now seeing as how little of Top Gear is actually about cars, a return of the good Fifth Gear is quite welcome.

Well depending on when that video from youtube is from, my guess is the new series could be either as bad or worse than series 10.

I agree. They're just having fun with each other, and I don't think there's any real animosity. If anything, it's the bias of one series' fans against the other where the hate comes in.

I'm also hoping that they will review a few of the cheaper cars that were to be released such as the Mazda3 MPS and Honda Civic Type-R.

It was a pretty good show overall and I don't think it's just because we've been tortured with Fifth Gear in the autumn. The roadworks was a pretty good piece of comedy, but I REALLY hope that they bring the news back. That's one of my favourite parts strangely enough. I like the XKR...

I've totally given up on Fifth Gear, and I actually like last season quite a bit. I've just started over from scratch and started watching Top Gear from the beginning. Sure the cars they do are no longer new, but the shows are actually worth watching. Fifth Gear has become totally pointless.
