I was extremely nice and gave it a 6/10.
Sweet lord this was a bad "special", they should be ashamed to have made such a bad episode.
I found myself playing solitaire on my phone instead of enjoying a special episode.
Couldn't agree more, the Top Gear feel from the best seasons (6-13) is back, sure there will be some lesser good episodes but since dumping the American, Celebrity Brain Crash and some of the most oversripting they have severely improved the show.
There are some minor tweaks left to do, but all...
vBulletin sadly sucks these days.
My first forums used it, and it was amazing, 3.8.4 was the best, but since 4.X it's gone downhill.
There is a reason why almost all vBulletin forums switched to XenForo, and I hope FG does as well.
Great too see the lads back in action.
Good that they listened to the viewers and changed some stuff, I actually liked the Celebrity Face Off bit, although I would love to see another car than the Jag, maybe a Toyota Hilux :P
By what we have seen so far Season 2 is looking epic.
No stupid "The American", no stupid "Celebrity Brain-Crash", more cheap car races and other epic stuff.
By going back to their roots and listening to the audience about not overdoing being stupid I can't wait for the new season to start.
They got a budget of ?5000 and has to buy a Limo online/unseen and then start in Freetown (Sierra Leone) go through Liberia, Cote d'Ivire, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeira, Cameroon and finish in Libreville (Gabon).
Japan-Russia-China roadtrip in Kei-Cars for less than ?2000.
They start in Sapporo (Japan) where we follow them trying to find Kei-Cars (Kinda like Florida special), they ship them over to Vladivostok (Russia), drives north a bit and then in to China and down to Beijing.
Best episode of the series so far.
I wonder how many offended snowflakes will complain to Amazon about this episode =)
I still feel the sitting arrangement for CHM is to stiff, they should get a couch so it gets more relaxed imho.
I've talked about earlier but I think snatching David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan from Roadkill would make one great show.
Although they clearly are way into muscle cars I think it would work, I would laugh my ass of seeing the race at Lydden Hill in a V8 swapped Morris Marina and a turbo...
