"Mammoth Mountain" The preview of the episode from Tuesday's showed Tanner driving a Range Rover Sport. So, I don't think that this is going to be a "cheap car, massive destruction" show.

"Adam's Show" Great. An excuse for Adam to lose out on more actual road tests.

"Taxis" A real-world cheap car test, not bad. All of the other challenges this season have been in isolated-ish environments so this will be a breath of fresh air.

"150 MPH Challenge" The winner of this has been spoiled already.

"RVs" The UK presenters, when they did the motor home challenge, tried to build motor homes that were small enough to work on European roads but still "cool" like big RVs. This seems a bit different, as if they're actually going to try and take their RV out on a track.

Am I bored, or what? It doesn't sound like there's any studio stuff going on.

For those of you who have been clamoring for an actual review in the new season, your prayers have been answered - I'm going to go ahead and assume that Tanner will be driving the Aventador, but you never know.

History has put up that the "One Tank" [of gas] episode will air on the 4th of September. Google Maps pegs the fastest route at 636 miles. It probably won't be as interesting as when the UK crew went to Blackpool as the route here is extremely straightforward - 544 miles of it is spent on...

As of today (the 21st), the next episode is not listed on History's website. However - the trailer for the episode lets us know that it's the "Overlooked Cars" challenge. EDIT: History officially calls the episode "Cult Classics". Rutledge is in the SVX. "Welcome to the Future," he says.

Going off from the teaser after the episode on Tuesday, the cars are the Smart Fortwo, Scion iQ, and Fiat 500. Tanner is driving the Smart. It looks to be a typical "outrageous" Top Gear test. Did anyone who saw the teaser remember who was driving the other two?

It starts again! Here's the blurb from History: Also, has published an article on the episode on the Transmission blog. History and both refer to this episode as part of Season 3.

LINK. This one looked like a really fun one in the trailer. James in the Caterham, Jeremy in the KTM, and Richard in the Morgan. Right? Although, the segment that Jeremy is doing seems like he would have done it already in one of his DVDs, like Richard and the jetpack guy. Did Jeremy do this...

I know that something similar to this was posted in the 18-02 pre-episode thread, but I thought that I'd start a new one for it so that it gets properly moved into the pre-episodes forum. LINK. I'm going to go ahead and assume that the Car Chase is double-length and that James reviews both...

Fetched the next description from the Radio Times. Bark bark! LINK. Was the Communist Cars only one segment? It seemed pretty substantial. I'm hoping the Chinese cars segment is lengthy - that shot in the newest trailer where Jeremy and James are literally sent backward by the car's...

18-01 listed on Radio Times TV Guide

I got bored and started poking around. Look what I came across! LINK. Is the Radio Times a legitimate source? There's no mention of exactly who is going to drive the C'eed...

TopGear 17-04 (Car Trains) - Slight Audio Issue

Hey all, I have the standard-def rip of 17-04. I got it shortly after it was released. I only just noticed now that the audio is at approximately half-volume until partway between the XKR-S vs GT-R road test. Has this issue been resolved, or is it un-resolvable?
