Does it not have an instruction manual? I suspect the manufacturer would know better than random people on the internet.

Collecting Vintage Computers You Grew Up With

In the year or so after college I went on an eBay buying spree of weird laptops and portables from the 90s that had caught my eye in PC Magazine from those days. They included: -Dell 320sli -IBM Thinkpad 701c "Butterfly" -AT&T Globalyst 250, a rebadged NEC Versa V/70 -IBM P70 -HP Omnibook 425...

Never mind, I misread some articles that kept referring to that engine as a V6. It's interesting if you can find one with a CPO warranty, but the combination of DSG and the usual VW gremlins would scare me away too for a long-term ownership prospect.

    Oh, it's a regular V6 not a VR6. Not interesting anymore.

That is super awesome! I also prefer the more flamboyant rear treatment of the pre-facelift C4.

Are clip-on weights an option? I had to get that for 14" wheels on an MR2 Spyder.

    Post Your Watches

This lockdown is affecting my watch-wearing habits. I'm repeatedly switching straps and bracelets, and rotating through multiple watches per day.

 Ordeals like that are why I now put a sheet of plastic between my storage wheels and the hub when I’m putting something away for the winter. Also I might be able to make this call, so pm me a link too please!

    Finally: 2001 Jaguar XKR coupe.

Just finished redoing valve cover gaskets and put in a new supercharger belt. Once I get the AC compressor replaced it'll be as good as news. That is, with the exception of some cloudiness in the coolant that has me on edge. Are there any benign (e.g. non-head gasket) explanations for this? The...

Unverified Ownership Fried eggs, now or never – Porsche 911 Carrera '98

It was only 1995-model X300s that lacked gloveboxes, and not all of them did. Post-facelift Saab 9000s with passenger side airbags also lacked gloveboxes, and later ones put an owner's manual pocket in the passenger footwell; if you had a '95 like mine, though, the footwell pocket was absent, so...
