[28x02] - 2 Feb. 2020 - Paddy reveals his ultimate cheap, luxurious off-roader: the homebuilt Dirty Rascal. Chris races the £2.5m McLaren Speedtail

These are just hitting BBC America, so I'm half-a-year late in responding. Enjoyed the McLaren Speedtail segment, both the review and the race against the F-35 and pleasantly-surprised to see an almost-practical Top Gear-developed vehicle in the Dirty Rascal.

    [28x01] - Jan 26 - Top Gear is back

We're 8 months behind here in the States (interesting we don't get TG concurrently on BBC America anymore) so just seeing this now and I found in entertaining enough.

    [27x02] Jun 23, 2019 Electric Car Special

The impression I got from Harris' comments at the end was when the mileage/charging-cycles gets that high, the performance of the battery is far, far below what it was new. Consumer-grade (laptop, smartphone, etc.) Li-Ions lose performance as they reach higher and higher charge-discharge cycles...

    Original BBC2 airings of S1 - S3?

To my knowledge video files of the original BBC2 airings of the first three episodes were never posted on this site. The ones I secured here were all the SBS airings.

    [3x12] March 28, 2019 - Legends and Luggage

This is the first time "The Grand Tour" felt like an episode of "Top Gear" to me. Which is a good thing, IMO. I feel the BBC had a moderating influence on the team (The Three Amigos and Wilman) that Amazon has not and that moderation resulted in a more stronger show.

Sauber in 2018 certainly benefitted from getting current-spec engines (as are now required for Customer PSUs) and I believe they also sourced more components from the Scuderia (as Haas does). But team management did look stronger, as well. As for showing Arrivibene the door, that Autosport...

I am guessing he will join Andretti Motorsport either for the 2019 IndyCar season or just for another run at Indy.

I think Daniel went to Renault for the money. Renault will pay him more than RBR and he will be the undisputed #1 at Renault whereas Max is (Marko's) #1 at RBR so he will be first in line for new parts for the chassis and PSU if they have to ration them. He's not going to win a WDC unless he...

    2018 Hungarian Grand Prix

A wet and wild qualifying favored the Mercedes, but the race is expected to be dry and hot which should throw it back to Ferrari as they were the best in the dry. A bad day for RBR, however, putting Daniel well in the back (12th) and Max (7th) sandwiched between the two Toro Rosso cars.

While Force India is now in Administration, it is actually a good sign as it will allow the team to sell itself to new owners who will provide the infusion of capital they need to continue to compete going forward.

    German Grand Prix 2018

Well they can explicitly preclude it. In Baku during FP2, for example, the FIA opted to disregard the usual rule stating drivers must enter the pitlane if they have four wheels to the left of the solid white line in order to encourage drivers to use the pit lane entry for slipstream passing...

Looks like Force India may now be okay and Lance Stroll will be driving for them next year. German sources say his father has bought the team, but Joe Saward at Motorsportweek believes it's a convertible loan giving him sufficient equity in the team to get his son the drive...
