HP now signs the firmware blobs, so sadly I'm doubtful.

    Ferrari Roma

Looks elegant, but generic. You could throw a McLaren badge on that and no one would notice.

    Random Thoughts... [Automotive Edition]

While we reminisce on Ford Escorts, my first manual was a '91 GT (rebadged Mazda 323). One of the most fun cars I've owned. It weighed about as much as a fruit fly and darted around like one. Sadly, I was tempted away from it by a temperamental Swedish gorilla that had ten times the weight...

    Maserati MC20

What market segment is Maserati suppose to be in again?

Damn it, now I'm looking up Royal Enfields. Argatoga, you're a bastard.

Using that same "sold more" logic, thumpers are the best!

While awesome, I am disappointed it wasn't printing each frame.

    AMD Zen 3, Ryzen 4000

Not if they plan on releasing Ryzen 3 earlier. Different markets.

    AMD Zen 3, Ryzen 4000

Different market segments, different competition. Nvidia can react quickly, so AMD will want to delay their GPU announcements as close to the release date as possible.

AMD Radeon 6000 - Big Navi

AMD has been horrible with naming here. From my understanding: Navi is the architecture that RDNA (5x series) is based on. RDNA 2 (6x series) is still Navi, but an evolution of it. Big Navi is RDNA 2, but scaled up to a bigger chip (the bigger the chip the more FPUs, the more performance)...

Bah grinding. Last time I broke a peg I did so by snapping it on a pot hole. It must have looked pretty bad ass as everyone at the intersection were honking their horns as I picked up my bike.

That isn't much different than most low level college courses, let alone K-12. Even with a professor teaching, I've gotten away with answers not much different. I'd run out of time on a test and just jot answers like: Venice: Italy, trade, city-state, Fourth Crusade, swamp people. And get 4 out...

That sounds like a Safari problem I ran into when making a web app a couple years ago. Did this happen after you updated iOS? Apple isn't the best when it comes to regression testing.

    Aston Martin Victor

I appreciate them finally updating their styling, but that looks like a poorly done Mustang tuner.

Auto industry runs ads claiming Right to Repair laws benefit (draws from Cards Against Humanity deck)... Sexual Predators.

I'm pretty sure sexual predators would be more successful finding a job at one of the big tech companies. I highly doubt Amazon, Google, or Apple do the due diligence to prevent that shit from happening. That car companies are moving everything to wireless to get around the ODB port sounds...

    Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000

I suspect Nvidia will keep owning the high end, with RDNA2 continuing the trend of ATI being competitive in the mid-range and below. AMD has an advantage in that they can sell APUs while Nvidia will continue to be forced to be discrete (unless ARM makes inroads in the PC laptop space).

I'd say that's a pretty authentic simulation of a plane crash.

    Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000

I'd wait for the reviews to come in before getting too excited. "Our new card shows a one million percent increase in frame rate on the game benchmarked", when the game ends up being Jill of the Jungle.
