Chris Evans - Hold or Fold?

From what I remember of Top Gear Australia, I actually didn't think it was that terrible. Not great by any means, but the episodes I watched were at least bearable for the most part.

My Biggest Issue With New Top Gear

Not really, I could think of worse. Plus I'm not British so it's not my tax dollars at work. I agree 100% with the comments made by Hal and TopGearNorthAmerica.

My Biggest Issue With New Top Gear

You're probably right. I wonder if they waste even more money paying someone whose sole responsibility is to clean the track after the rallycross segments.

My Biggest Issue With New Top Gear

I would agree with that and was thinking the same thing. Luckily with it being England rain helps wash some of that crap off I'm sure, but they seem to have changed this portion of the show just for the sake of change when in my opinion, it didn't need changing. Have you also noticed the hand...

My Biggest Issue With New Top Gear

The thing that I dislike the most about the new incarnation of Top Gear is the 'Star in a Rallycross Car' segment, primarily the interview segments where it's a comparison of first cars and best cars. Really? Is that the best you can come up with? I understand that Clarkson can rub people the...

Clarkson: Jeremy Clarkson - 'Pre' Top Gear Days!

Same thing I was thinking. I was expecting a Jeremy Clarkson around my age (26) but in the 80s, not practically the same Jeremy Clarkson as the first seasons of current Top Gear.

    I'm still baffled...

The even more funny thing is that all of you respond by bashing my intelligence, where I live, and my devotion to the Top Gear brand as a whole. The fact of the matter is that you don't know a god damn thing about me, or the state that I live in, if you feel so compelled to trash Nebraska...

    I'm still baffled...

As to how any of you think that Top Gear America is actually a good show. It is complete and utter garbage that could be done so much better, yet there seem to be many of you on this forum that are happy with it being an okay show, at best. I've seen every episode thus far - with the exception...

Guests you'd like to see in Series 18

Here's a list of 20 candidates - a few have been mentioned already - that I can think of: Gordon Ramsay Simon Cowell Jay Kay Hugh Laurie Michael Caine Christian Bale Daniel Craig Pierce Brosnan Harry Enfield Matt Damon Jay Leno Rosie Huntington-Whitely Jason Statham Emma Watson Daniel Radcliffe...

    [10x02] October 14th, 2007

What song is playing right before that (from about 00:10 to 00:40 in the YouTube clip linked above)? I've had season 10 on DVD for some time now and have always wanted to know what it was since I first saw the episode. I got on YouTube and brought up Goldfrapp's "Let It Take You", but that...

    Rate the 16th season here

While this wasn't the best season of Top Gear, I don't know if I'd go that far. I gave it a seven, as there were some quality episodes, but one or two in the middle part of the season kind of dragged it down as a whole. Still though, much better than TGUS season 1, at least in my opinion.

Top Gear 15 on Blu Ray

They did the same thing on iTunes. At first, I didn't realize what it was actually about, but having heard about the segment a bit, I'm halfway tempted to download the torrent for the episode just to watch that part.

    [16x06] February 27th, 2011

I couldn't have said it better. I didn't give it a 10, but it was a solid 9, in my opinion, and that's after a very subpar episode last week. Great car reviews (except they couldn't turn a timed lap), Clarkson and John Prescott were pretty damn funny together (except he couldn't turn a lap...

[16x05] February 20th, 2011, but it's Torii Hunter, not Tori. Not nitpicking, just helping a brother out.

Maybe it's just me, but even though Amber Heard is gorgeous, she is one of those Americans that gives Americans the reputation of being stupid or uneducated. She didn't really say anything of importance during her interview, she can't drive nearly as good as she thinks she can, she's just some...

    Kill, reformat or do nothing?

If and when Top Gear decides to bow out, I do hope they have a proper sendoff and final series. I have enjoyed season 16 thus far, and though it's not my favorite season by any means, it's still arguably the best show on the world. Like others have said, maybe a bit of a break...

Sorry if I've been living under a rock...

No, no, no. My apologies. I was referring to the poll posted on here about a week ago and five random people who chose the 'yes' option would win seasons 14 and 15 on Bluray or DVD. The poll closed last night, if I remember correctly, but I can't find who, if anyone has won yet. Sorry, my...

But who ended up winning seasons 14 and 15, or have they not announced yet?

What TGUS Presenter to Drop? [Part 2]

I'm in the process of watching that now actually (I have the majority of the season finished). I realize that Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither will this series if it's to be successful. TGUS didn't have grannies doing doughnuts in season one though... haha In all honesty, I am looking...

Top Gear moments that made you laugh?

In season 15, when Clarkson is driving the Reliant Robin and takes his first turn down the driveway (see sig pic), I laughed as hard as I have in quite a while.
