    Someone Else's Problem: EyeMWing's Correct-Wheel-Drive Lesbaru

Has it always had the rattle at idle in neutral? I ask because the NV3550 in my Jeep has a reverse idler shaft that is quite noisy, but it is a known characteristic of that transmission and doesn't mean anything is broken.

Or the rider needs to buy a bike with a less dumb engine design. :p

Probably a similar amount of times you could spool up a 1400hp gas motor before it blows something up. I bet they have it hooked to a mondo torque converter to get that spool rather than direct drive.

There is definitely something to a bike where the engine sticks way out either side.

Ownership Verified: BCS repeatedly breaks, fixes, and re-breaks his Jeep

The hood vents were a popular upgrade among the XJ people back when I was in the Jeep club a million years ago. Can't wait to see the ZJ in Moab in 2021!

Pretty sure all of the 09 and up trucks got the 9.75. Both of mine have had it. Those are good reasons for not swapping, but I'm still glad it isn't a Dana 44. :p

The F150 has a Dana 60 sized rear end as well, the Sterling 9.75. I'm actually kind of surprised I don't hear about them being used for swaps since they are quite beefy and very common. Salisbury type axles are fine but I do like a good Hotchkiss type.

I thought that was dumb too. I think one of the auto mags smoked theirs in their first long term titan too. Their marketing was like DANA 44 SO STRONG. Woo, half ton axle for a half ton truck. They should have just put a 60 in it.

Then why wouldn't they call it something new? It will just confused FUD's like me that think that Dana 44 only means the Dana 44 that was made for about 60 with minimal changes.

Mopar people are just insane. They are also all car hoarders. I swear every mopar enthusiast has a yard of cars they will get to some day.

    2021 Ford Bronco trim/color/options decoded

Both of my recent F150s came shod with extra shitty Goodyear Wrangler street terrain tires. Why I have no idea, they were junk. Yet somehow my brother who also bought a couple of F150s around the same time got Michelin LTX on both of his, brand new. They should just make BFGs standard.

Seriously. I had a similar problem putting in a repro sending unit on the CJ7. It was literally a square peg that didn't fit in the round hole until I modified it.

They have really gone for the JL's jugular on this one. I expect they will sell like the proverbial hot cakes.

450 torques is more than enough for any offroading. I'm more concerned that someone at FCA thinks that Dana 44s are enough axle for 37" tires with that power level. Yeah, I know the rear is an upgraded version with a slightly larger ring gear but north of 400ft lb I'd like to see a 60...

Sure is! I want to start fixing it back up now that I've spent 17 years beating it up. Maybe I've just seen too many beautiful restored early broncos and land cruisers but eventually I want to make it cherry again. Not gonna undo any of the mods, but just straighten out the wrinkles, maybe...
