Ownership Verified: Miami Weiß - My 1989 Chevrolet Corvette C4

Personally I would invest more into the technical upkeep of the car, and not in cosmetics like different wheels. It's a 89 Corvette so the car looks quirky and cool already as it is with the original wheels.

    Last movie you saw?

Waiting For The Barbarians (2019) Stupid title, but quite a good movie, in a utterly slow drama sort of way. It's a war movie, but without any battle scenes. - You have to be in the right mood for a film like this. - I was, so I enjoyed it. = 7/10

Ownership Verified: Die Barge von Barking: 2000 Audi S6, or: Can't hear you, my exhausts are so loud!

Well well, everything was recently updated, mended, and great... until the Audi developed a hole in the exhaust. This week one morning I noticed a very different sound. - Eh, no big deal, the Audi will go into the shop next monday for a bit of exhaust welding. Problem solved. But my inner 10yo...

^ They are simple M+S tires (Falken HS01 XL 235/45). - I always drive with winter boots. - Good for about two years until the daily used S6 has eaten away the front ones to the legal minimum. Then I replace all four. No problem with aquaplaning, the V8 barking is louder than the tire noise...

    Last TV show you saw?

I'm binge-watching Breaking Bad (2008). Never seen it before, and I'm currently at season 2. And it's an absolute riot. Granted I 5-second skip some filler parts with the White-wife and her sister-in-law, but all the other plot threads are great.

Well hello, another year gone, time to update. - And for sure, the barkwagon is still with me, it's still my every day runabout, and still a hoot to drive. - By now over 20 years old, with 269'000km (167'000mi) on the clock. About two years ago I got the S6 a full suspension overhaul. This time...

    Last TV show you saw?

Space Force (2020) Most of the humor is blunt and cringy, and most characters (apart from the scientists) are stereotypic caricature morons incapable of living outside of such a TV-show , but the the wife-in-jail subplot was unusual and hence great, and John Malkovitch was a joy to watch...

    Last movie you saw?

Recently: The Nice Guys (2016) Good one. Silly and funny. I was entertained. - Goal achieved. Emma (2020) I prepaired for boredom, but got proven wrong. Very predictable story of course, but in a very cute presentation, and even I clapped at the end. - Very nice. Ad Astra (2019) Bored me for...
