    Jeremy Clarkson Suspended Over Fracas

All the BBC had going for it was a 60(odd) minute slot with no commercial breaks. There are many other networks that offer that.

    Jeremy Clarkson Suspended Over Fracas

Looking forward to the new show on a network not run by hand-wringing knobs. I hope the HBO rumors are true. Jezza/May/Hammo + unlimited budget + no censors = yes, please.

    Jeremy Clarkson Suspended Over Fracas

Probably, because any idiot can file a lawsuit. However, if you expect to win anything, you have to prove damages-- which in this case would likely amount to whatever BS medical costs could be drummed up plus some marginal amount for "pain and suffering"-- and that's assuming it actually went to...

    Jeremy Clarkson Suspended Over Fracas

Indeed. Both should sink or swim on the merits of their programming and nothing else.

    Jeremy Clarkson Suspended Over Fracas

PBS/NPR are as bad or worse in many ways. They're just as biased and hoover up nearly half a billion dollars each year from people who would rather not contribute one red cent for their dreck.

    Jeremy Clarkson Suspended Over Fracas

You think they'd put up with the Beeb or move to England? They barely tolerate California. - - - Updated - - - They won't. If Clarkson goes, it'll be a new show with the four of them for another network. And it'll probably be the better for it.

    Jeremy Clarkson Suspended Over Fracas

Degree and intent matter. Beiber running around like a prima donna and having body guards beat the snot out of people is quite a lot different than giving someone a smack or a shove over a disagreement. This hand-wringing zero tolerance nanny bullcrap that many in the UK have been infamous for...

    Jeremy Clarkson Suspended Over Fracas

Time for another bout of blithering BBC idiocy, is it? Maybe Clarkson will finally wise up and build his own show in a free country.

    [22x00b] December 28th, 2014 [Patagonia Special, Part 2]

Actually, I have. Generally speaking the guys with the guns win. And when I had my "hits the fan" moment, I didn't get to sit in a hotel, drink scotch and moan about it.

    [22x00b] December 28th, 2014 [Patagonia Special, Part 2]

Boring compared to the first half, amazingly. Fairly annoying and predictable car destruction-- with actually good cars for once. I suppose it's something of a tribute to just what kind of a beating a well made car can take, but still. They could have found a more dignified end to that Esprit...

    [22x00a] December 27th, 2014 [Patagonia Special, Part 1]

Silly, but fun and watchable. This marks the first TG episode where I care that they're destroying perfectly good, relatively rare cars. But, eh.

What challenges/races would you like to see on future episodes?

They're destroying crap cars nobody cares about. So does TGUK.

Slow start, but an amusing ending. The Wraith is a hell of a thing. Looks like the next one will be pretty awesome.

    DMCA Notice

You lose the enforcability of it, if not the actual copyright. If you do not serve notice when someone uses a work in an unauthorized fashion, and they continue to do so, it becomes much more difficult to enforce as it is arguable that failing to serve notice was a form of de facto approval...

    DMCA Notice

Uh.. I'd love to know how a production company sees larger revenues when people download their content stripped of ads. If I sell something for 50% of what it costs me to make it, I'm sure many people will want one. I'll also go broke. Regardless, this is more about copyright and brand...

Extremely rare 10. Thought the concept was going to suck, but it was quite good. Lots of fun little moments between the hosts, too.

Fun to watch. I rather enjoy the "real" challenges that have them driving odd stuff on public roads, rather than some closed off area surrounded by safety police.

Watchable. Actually better than the UK attempt, if I'm honest.

Slowish start, a bit campy in parts, but all together a solid ep. Tanner's bit with the F12 is probably the first time I've seen someone drive the thing as intended.

    Rut's '49 Chevy Kurbmaster.

Came across this vid of Rut on Hot Rod's power tour. Interesting van, and a pretty down to earth guy. Hopefully he'll end up this relaxed on the show as it progresses.
