Sadly it's Penn State I know there are a few good rigs with Quadro cards, but they're usually taken go figure. I'd rather just have my own and not have to think about it.

 The workstations we have access to don't even have pro grade cards (Quadro/FirePro) just some old Radeon 5000/6000 gaming cards which I've had crash on me a few times before.

I know that, but for Solidworks it'll be a massive benefit especially with all the group based classes I'll be taking the last 2.5 semesters I have. I might add I purchased a refurbished unit at a much lower cost than a new unit with it's warranty still intact till next July.

I have a few assemblies I've created in Solidworks that among other things I want to try to print. Also one of my engineering classes next semester will probably require some 3D printing so I'll have some experience with it before hand.

    Formula SAE (student formula)

2014 car is getting there. It's going to be a nice improvement over our 2013 design, but nothing as radical as 2012 to our 2013 car.

    Bicycles!

So I'm going to purchase a bike tomorrow either an entry level road bike or if someone can convince me a hybrid. My LBS carries Specialized,Giant, and Cannondale so that should help with any suggestions. My main use will be getting to and from class along with some riding on weekends to do...

Germans and my other European friends: SIM card purchasing question.

I've been to Poland (EU also) the past 2 years, and I've never had to show any sort of proof to purchase a prepaid sim so I'm baffled by what you just mentioned.

Jetski fouling spark plugs within minutes

Has he changed the jetting on the carburetor at all? Could be that the fuel mixture is too rich so he might need to lean the motor out by adjusting the jetting. It could also be that the new plugs are the wrong temperature.

The Aviation Thread [Contains Lots of Awesome Pictures]

You can control how dark the tint is outside of takeoffs, landings, and probably when everyone is sleeping even then on the darkest setting you can still see very well. Really enjoyable experience and having flown a few different aircraft my favorite. :)

The Aviation Thread [Contains Lots of Awesome Pictures]

Flew on the 787-8 twice to and from Poland for vacation on LOT, and what an AWESOME aircraft. It really is a major step in airliners. Obviously with that comes some of the issues it's been having, but with time it will mature. Some photos from my trip (I flew on SP-LRB both times sitting in 4A...
