On a oncoming episode: Tiff racing in the Maserati Trophy

I was in Monza today for the Wtcc/Fia Gt races, and I found out that Tiff was competing in the Maserati Trophy. A crew was recording footage for Fifth Gear! (So I may be on the episode, as they were recording while I spoke with Tiff! :) )

No, unhappily most of their reviews are made that way.. Non really a visually entertaining show! :)

In the episode Jason Plato said it was the first tv test in the world of the F430, but I remember a short test on the Fiorano track on an italian show a couple of months ago! (Honestly,it was a really boring review, with a single camera covering the whole track :( )

    stig sucks?

In this pic the rear suspension looks like a traditional wishbone with a leaf spring instead of the coil spring.. (I'm trying to use some concepts they tought in a course at the university :) )

    Just who is the STIG?

And what about when he help the "Stars in a reasonably priced cars" during their practice laps? Does he wear that helmet for hours? Maybe they sign a contract they will never give away information about the Stig, or they would get death penalty?

That's something I like about TG! It's interesting AND brilliant, not a boring display of car features like the motoring shows on italian tv..

I've just finished watching the episode.. Probably the best of the season IMO! The mountain road where Richard drove the Zonda is awesome.. I'm almost sure it was a part of the Montecarlo Rally "Col de Turini" stage.. And I think that the Astons are the best looking cars on sell today!

I was thinking of the Westfield, too.. If they had a Trackdays Car category, both the Radical and the Noble would have fitted..

I think that by "sportscar" they meant the small, open-roof cars that relate to the british tradition of Triumph, old Mg's, etc.. In that terms, the Noble doesn't fit into that category. (Well, neither the Radical does, but that's just a unique car..)

I really enjoyed the episode, too! But I would have chosen the Caterham! By the way, this is my first post, as I have just joined the forum! Hello, everyone!
