    [03x14] April 11, 2019 - Funeral for a Ford

I finally got to watch it... and I was highly, highly impressed. I haven't been on the Top Gear / TGT train for as long (damn oceans) as some people but I saw my first episode (Ronny Wood/The Peel P50) on BBC America, and I was absolutely floored. I had to have it. Everything they've ever...

    [03x05] February 8, 2019 - "An Itchy Urus"

If the GT guys stumble down here at some point... This was worth me logging in to this site to say how great the episode was. I know you're making a 'show for everybody' and having episodes to appeal to the 8 year olds, the 18 year olds and so on... but this 'episode' was utterly brilliant. I...

Got back from my holiday and finally watched it... I thought this was either the best or second best ep of the show so far. I liked how nothing really dragged on, crisp and clean. I was a little perturbed that the Veyron wasn't even in 'super speed' mode as the giant back wing was still up and...

I rated it an 8. I liked it, it had a bit of charm to it. I like it better when the racing driver isn't allowed to talk, and I share the opinion that I just wish they wouldn't aimlessly destroy the vehicles at the end of them. It's one thing for a car to have a calamity that incapacitates it...

Gave it an 8. The weighing was... pointless. I just felt bad for the MX5's bodywork. I can see what they were going for, but it fell too flat, I'd have cut that. I actually like 'conversation street' as a segment, it's growing on me. They could probably arrange the studio/tent to be a bit...

    [01x03] December 2nd, 2016

I gave it a 9. They're clearly still finding their footing for the tent/studio bits, which is fine, it's the third episode and a new environment. I had genuine laugh out loud moments with the hellcat's ridiculousness especially in comparison with the other two. Like others, I'm quite over...

A 10 from me. This was Top Gear perfection. I enjoyed every second of it, wasn't distracted by my phone or anything, and was genuinely sad when it was over. I didn't care about the guest, but even that managed to be entertaining in its own little way. And I want both Jags.

I threw it a nine. That area of the world was my old stomping ground so it was nice to see it get some looks internationally. It's really nice there, especially in the summers. I liked the SIARPC, the film was good, the news was almost cars-y (sorry guys! haha) and the lexus thing was okay...

    [22x04] February 15th, 2015

I gave it an 8, but immediately regretted it and should have given it a 9. I wasn't enthused at all by the double-guest SIARPC. But the rest of it was great. Absolutely great. I now want a BMW i8. Anybody want to buy one for me? This was the Top Gear that turned them into the global...

Top Gear filming in British Columbia

I wonder if they realize it's winter in Canada and that our supercars are mostly parked for the winter? We might very well see a tremendous accident if they get a little crazy. I hope not, but I know that route through the Rock Creek / Westbridge road and there are a few interesting corners if...

Ben Collins doing AMA on Jalopnik right now

Clarkson said it best; he's a racing driver and as such his opinions are all worthless.

Clarkson: when does jeremy say this?

"Jeremy Clarkson Top Gear, driving the best car in the world, Camera Video." --ish.

I dunno, I think for most nationalities, a girlfriend can be a real tongue-breaker. least THEY seem to hope so.

What? Every series is the worst series they ever had, even worse than the last one! /IKindaMissTheSubaruOwnersClub

Wow, you mad bro. Have a juicy fruit, it's gonna move ya. Oh, so you've clearly not watched Mythbusters, nor are you the type to ever watch it. Gotcha. But I stand humbled in your presence, oh great enlightened one.

I gave it an 8. I was entertained for 80% of the episode. Hammond's bit gave it a bonus +1. I think that was his best individual segment, quite possibly ever. The GT-R bit at the end was the -1... I think a fair bit of the audience of TG are the same type of people who watch Mythbusters, who...

I was entertained for 90% of it, so 9/10 from me. Loved the premise of the small cars, and the windy twisty bit. I liked the feel of it; it "felt" organic, even if it wasn't completely so. A big difference from the scripted shenanigans from ep 1. I laughed way too hard at the out the window...

First complaint for series 21 is in

Some people simply look for ways to be offended. And so eventually they find a way to be offended, and get their self-importance gene worked out a little bit by complaining to other people who get offended.

I thought the first 3/4 or so of it was really good. It was "the right amount" of cocking about. But they took it too far in the third act, and the episode suffered for it. I gave it a 7, as it entertained me for 70% of an hour.

What segments do you miss from the earlier seasons?

I think it's coming up to a time now where they could legitimately re-visit some of the challenges of Series' past to see what "ten years difference: What does a budget supercar do now?" - The old one had a point (a huge warning against cheap supercars from ages past) and the new one could share...
