haha... Happy to give you a lift. Which part of Melb are you in? The reason I rock up in diff cars each time is cuz the Cruises are too far apart. btw, you've done some amazing times on Winton.. 1:36 is pretty quick :D

    Aussie FG meetup! (melbourne)

We can do a late afternoon karting session followed by a dinner and a photoshoot somewhere. Only issue I see with Gokarting is someone has to organize with the place and start taking deposits. From previous events, it might be abit hard as people keep changing their attendance and some do not...

    Aussie FG meetup! (melbourne)

9hp carts... they are far from slow :P I was thinking maybe this time Viper shouldn't post the meet up in the news section? We will pm people individually.... for karts we need about 12 guys. If everyone active over the past few days comes along, then we'd have about 5-6 so far...

    Aussie FG meetup! (melbourne)

My friend organized an event at Ace Karts a couple of months back. It was $65 for each member for a group of 12. 15mins practice + 15mins race.

    Aussie FG meetup! (melbourne)

I agree... but so far, we haven't had problems with random people attending so far. Most people on the cruise have visited Finalgear and besides the odd 11's on the last one, all the cruises have been very sensible (compared to ones organized by other Car Clubs that I've attended).

I'm not sure if the fires have affected this route... what about a Mt. Baw Baw or Walhalla Hill Climb?

The 'That puts a smile on my face'-thread

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiqTGe77PSw I don't care what Honda haters say or about it being a 1.6l POS, or Vtec being overrated. Yes it is overated but hearing the VTEC crossover (on youtube or IRL does put a smile on my face)

    2006 MY06 Subaru Impreza 2.0R Hatch

Nice car watto.... I thought all Non turbo Impreza's in the 06-07 Shape were 2.5l instead of 2.0l?

    Attn: Australians

I came to the University of Melbourne as a foreign student as well... there is plenty of accommodation both on and off campus within walking distance. The Uni is also a 15min walk to the CBD or a 5min tram ride. Would love to help in any way I can

    Next Adelaide meet - Discussion

By the look for the interests so far, seems like people are more interested in Cruising. haha. Maybe we should organize a Cruise instead
  17. andyhui01

    Aussie FG meetup! (melbourne)

I'm thinking we need at least 10 to make it enjoyable... seems Go-Karting doesn't generate as much interest as cruises.. haha

    First car in Adelaide

Have you driven a late model Hyundai? If I wanted a Daily Car that was just a car for a cheap price, Hyundai's are your best bet. For that price range, you can only get 96-98 Civics and the most basic one with 150,000km on the clock, A Hyundai Getz would have much lower km's and be more modern...

    First car in Adelaide

I'm assuming if you're spending $5000 on the car, you'd want hassle free motoring. I would go with the newest car you can get for $5000, Hyundai's are a good place to start looking. If you could put your budget at about $7000, the Hyundai Getz would be your best bet, I've driven that thing quite...
