The new season is just around the corner, Stoner is gone and Valentino is back on a competitive bike!

Hopefully 2013 will see the return of the good ol' Moto GP action and excitement!

Will Rossi dominate again?

judging by the qualifying results, nope : P

Jokes, btw : P

So glad this is back, feels like the longest off season yet. Mind you, also keen as for WSBK again, Neukirchner on a Ducati (and met him at PI!), here's hoping this is his big comeback to wins! : )

Great to see Rossi back on the podium. What a cracking race.

Tweet from Alex Hofmann (@Alex_66) about Marquez:

@Alex_66 said:
So I asked @marcmarquez93 after the race that I am surprised about how much more he seems in control entering Moto GP then two years ago Moto 2 ! His answer : I guess I learned a lot that time crashing and rushing it too much so I decided to take it easier on my Moto GP entry ! No more questions amigo ...

So, Marquez is actually taking it easy?!

Look at the date of my bump. :(

I haven't seen Assen yet. Everyone says it was a solid day for all the classes, so I look forward to it. :D

Bump?

Crutchlow to Ducati next year, I'm now joining Ducatisti. :D

I look forward to seeing whether he can wrestle with the notoriously difficult bike to get some good results.

Well, he's flushed his career down the toilet.

Not that there was really anywhere else for him to go. A factory team is always going to be the main aim, even if it's as shit as the Ducati is at the moment. Who knows, maybe they'll get themselves together next year and have a decent bit of kit.

I'm not sure I buy anything about Marquez taking it easy after watching the first three races...

Well we now know, hes been taking it easy - look how well he controls himself at the beginning of each race, then slowly ramps it up. He seems to be taking good care of the tires, then shredding them towards the end.

hes too good...

This may be the start of a new generation. All the electronics are more familiar to the younger riders who have mostly grown up with them, so they have the confidence to push the bike further. Marquez is probably the best example of this (and also immensely talented aside from that).
