I am trying to find a piece of music used in this episode. It is the Spanish guitar music used when Hammond is testing the Z4 in Portugal.

Have had no luck finding this since it was broadcast.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate it!

53:19 - 53:52 - Stig drives Clarkson's SL55 AMG - Unknown song.

It was used extensively in Season 1 and subsequent seasons of TG, and was also used on one of the episodes of Hogan Knows Best.

Hi guys, appologies if i'm posting this in completely the wrong place but just went to the most recent thread.

Anyway, came across this video clip of Clarkson driving a merc amg and really liked the music.....
It starts 1 minute 20 seconds into the video here:
http://www.topgear.com/uk/videos/mind-my-car

....but have no idea what it is, have been searching ages.... nothing anywhere!!!

Was hoping some legend could take a look and maybe find out...hopefully!

Many thanks in advance.

That is KPM production music. Disc #546 "Strings and Beats" | Track # 2 "Daystar". You can 'enter as guest' and listen to a sample at http://www.kpm.co.uk

Hey guys,

Looking for a song played in the SL55 AMG test. Very strangely, the music is not the same in the topgear.com clip posted by mikeg.

However it starts at 2:42 and stops around 2:52 in this YouTube clip :

Thank you very much for any help.

well i found one song i don't know exactly is this one or not http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmatItacEvM

Sorry to bump an ancient thread, though in the original BBC2 broadcast when The Stig drives the NSX round the track he listens to Streets of London by Ralph McTell.

The Spanish sounding music is the Paris, Texas soundtrack by Ry Cooder. It is used throughout the first two series.

As above, it is from the Paris, Texas OST by Ry Cooder.
