^ Four Tet's music is sort of a fusion between live recorded instruments, samples and synthesizers - it's a little bit of everything. As with most electronic music, it is hard to tell what is what, but as far as I can hear in the short clip they used on Top Gear you are hearing all three elements - recorded instruments, samples and synthesizers.

Oh, and just to emphaszie how brilliant Four Tet is, the "band" is actually just one person - Kieran Hebden. I've always had a thing for the genius of solo-musical acts, and Four Tet is definetly one of the best. :mrgreen:

Sorry to be posting so long after the last post. I just got the episode. Does anyone know the music played when Jezza is racing the skier down the slope in the X type Saloon? it sounds like it could be from a film.
