Actually, that section by Holst is not Jupiter, but rather "World in Union", performed (I believe) by Shirley Bassey, Bryn Terfel, the The Black Mountain Male Chorus, The Morriston Rugby Club Choir and The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
Edit on 5/4/05: The section with the MP3 Clip and the female singer is the part I was talking about.

I'm not using the encode from this site, so maybe I used the wrong times. I counted three separate usages of Jupiter. Someone who's downloaded it can sort this out for me.

Editted out before too many search engines run into it.

^ You might want to check that link because it doesn't seem to work. If you get that working, I'll give that a listen. I'm also looking for the song taht NismoMan posted, but it's not exactly easy to find. I've never even heard of Holst or the artists that NismoMan listed - I'll give both a listen and determine which is more accurate.

Edit: Nevermind. I just went to the root of the directory and got the song BungMonkey. You might want to fix it if other want it though.

65.110.XX.XX - - [02/Dec/2004:01:10:32 -0800] "GET /temp/Jupite,_the_Bringer_of_Jollity.ogg HTTP/1.1" 404 335 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0"

I think I found your problem.

^ I just punched that in by mistake when I tried to get to the root. I've got it now though, and it looks like the link works for me now as well. :)

No, that's what you punched in by mistake.

I didn't actually change the link in that post, only removed some details about the song's usage.

edit: I should probably stop being such a ass about this. I'll shut up, now.

I have downloaded that, but it is something else, or I got the wrong one fro Kazaa... But all the other Songs played with the Disco3 is right...

^ It seems that the song times on this episode were really messed up. I just rewatched the Disco3 segment and corrected them all.

The song that BungMonkey posted - Holst - Jupiter - is in fact the song that is used. The 56:15 - 57:10 time was messed up though, so we still need to find that song.

Edit: I also just added a song time at 54:51 - 55:09. I know I have heard this song before, and I am almost certain that I have it somewhere in my collection. I'm looking for it right now, but I really want to find this one. It sounds like a M Ward, Damien Rice, Cat Power or Decemberists style song... It's driving me nuts, but I'll find it.

Wow! M Ward, haven't heard his stuff for a while. Totally gonna have to dl some again now! :) Haven't heard the latter two bands, am I likely to enjoy their work?

Definetly. Cat Power is a female singer\songwriter. She has a very brooding dark feel to a lot of her songs, which I find to be very cool. If you like M Ward, you'll definetly like her.

Decemberists have a sort of indie-pop sound. If you like bands like Belle & Sebastian you'll definetly love them.

I'm still working on that songs though - I know I've heard it and have a very strong feeling it's somewhere in my music collection, so it's absolutely driving me nuts!
