may is getting better every show, really enjoyed him in this episode: specially when he said hammond was nearly dead on the racing boat. almost forgot the name of may's predecessor... oh wait, i actually did forget it

Wow. He really did send it back. It's interesting to find out about, and I wonder what he's going to do. If it was me, I would take the car back with a new alarm system or see if they can take out the old one and put in one that would work. Easier said than done and more money I'm sure. Perhaps the alarm system is too engrained into the GT anyway.

Just finished watching it - GREAT episode. I can't believe they broke 2 boats. :lmao:

Man, James has very little in his bank account!

5000 Kroner = 753.381 USD!

I know around here we have checking/saving/etc accounts, he was probably drawing from checking. James strikes me as the kind of person who saves 90% of his yearly income and has a very strict budget, yunno? 8)

btw. The bridge was ?resundsbron, between Denmark and Sweden...

For the sake of nitpicking, the official spelling is ?resundsbron

In Sweden we call it ?resundsbron and we spell it the same.. Is the bridge Danish or Swedish?!? I would never spell it ?resundsbron

This weeks eps was rather boring. There were no new car reviews, The whole ep was focus the the race and the race wasn't as good as the previous races they had on the show. This ep just seems like one of the worst ep I've seem so far. The only good peice of the whole show was seeing the DBR9 in action and hearing that noise!! EEEKEKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEKKKKKK!!!....great! .........have a feeling that the next ep will have the ferrari 430

"Hammond, I think I might have Norwegian wood" - James enjoying the powerboat :D

i think i might know what that mean, but can you clarify for me?

Norwegian Wood was a Beatles song, and 'having wood'/'getting a woody'/... means getting a hard-on (from the fun the powerboat gives, apparently:))

And apropos that, I now got reminded of one of the funniest TG guests (sorry, don't remember his name, some movie actor) going on about how he had some troubles understanding the Stig's racing terms...
"Hard on into the first corner"... I've already got enough to think about

The guest was Martin Clunes from the July 18th episode from Season 4.

Brilliant episode, and the best one so far this series! This episode takes the cake for having the nicest visuals and cinematography of any Top Gear episode ever. It's also probably the funniest one yet! The SLR going through the red tunnel even tops the Zonda Roadster segment.

Thats weird... Didn't it say that the lowest amount you could withdraw was that amount?

I don't know about Norway but in Denmark that's the higest you can withdraw, some places it's only 3000kr. They also have some wierd rules if you try to withdraw from an other bank than yours.

Ok, take it easy. Call it whatever you want. I'm just saying what the official spelling is.

The "natural" Swedish spelling would be ?resundsbron. The "natural" Danish spelling would be ?resundsbroen.

For the official name, they made a compromise. ?resundsbron.

I enjoyed the humor, some of the best this season, but the car "testing" didn't exactly set the world on fire. I think James May is truly coming into his own. He's got that stereotypical British dry wit that I think is simply hilarious. Jeremy has it, too, for sure, but James' is much more biting.

I am sorry, though, that nearly the entire episode focused on the race: far less time for other vehicles. There also seemed to be a lack of context for the Aston, although it was certainly fun to watch.
