On this week's Top Gear - the biggest challenge yet - can Jeremy in an ?830k Bugatti Veyron beat the boys in a light aircraft flown by Captain Slow? What is faster a car or a dog, and Alan Titchmarsh is the 'Star in a Reasonably Priced Car'.

   This is gonna be great :D

^^ Epic suits it more...

Can't wait!!!

haha finally the veyron at tg!
that will be a moment in my life i will remember for a long long time!
how long i?ve been waiting for this!

this is shapin up to be one of the best episodes so far

although I have the DB9 race down as my favourite ep.

The trans-continental ones are always good, but since this is such a new car we haven't had much chance to see videos of, it should be even better.

Yeh thats exactly what I was thinking, theres hardly any good footage of the Veyron yet.

X-Mas is coming early! :D

this is TG's X-mas pressie to me!!!... so if they showed all the exciting bits, whats the last episode about?

I can't wait!!! :woot:

How does TG manage to get permission to put a bunch of miles on a Veyron?

Who cares, cant wait to watch. :D

There are going to be a LOT of pitstops to give the beast some fuel

A LOT more than on the Ford GT.

Veyron drinks 70L for 100 KM (don't know how it translates into MPG)
:driving:

Probably the best footage on Veyron yet, only things I've seen were crappy vidcaps in German of some guy on the passenger seat filming the Veyron on Wolfsburg test track. :(

I just hope that JC goes berserk with the Veyron on the track as well!
Sure, the race is gonna be great, but there are things you just can't do on public (narrow) roads. In the past (DB9, 612 Scaglietti), when they had a race in one car, there was no additional (lenghty) driving on their airfield.

I want as much coverage on the Veyron as possible! Heck, if you aks me they should devote a whole episode to it! ;)

This episode is going to be nuts..

From behind the wheel of a Veyron, France is the size of a small coconut. I cannot tell you how fast I crossed it the other day. Because you simply wouldn?t believe me. I also cannot tell you how good this car is. I just don?t have the vocabulary. I just end up stammering and dribbling and talking wide-eyed nonsense. And everyone thinks I?m on drugs.
