Well I did like this episode (still isn't one I haven't liked), very informative and when the new one is ripped I will be downloading it to replace this one, that I have complete episodes.

Fifth Gear's budget must be a lot larger this year with them giving away nice cars like that! They never do that in Motortrend TV or Car and Driver!
Anyone notice the charges at the bottom of the screen when they give you the chance to enter? "Entries cost 1 pound plus std. charge. networks may vary" so does this mean that 5th Gear get 1 pound from every person that enters? if that's the case then they would only need 16,000 people to enter to cover the cost of that car.

And Honda won't probably ask them the list price.

the OLD grand cherokee was the one that actually worked. Just like all the jeeps before daimler benz took over, the chief cherokee (I had one) could actually do off road stuff. The new ones are just shared platforms which is crap... this grand cherokee is a dodge durango, and remember when the liberty came out they had to lower it because some cars were rolling over. Sad... I was a big jeep fan

I didn't mind this episode - not one of the best I admit, but still not bad.

I think a lot of people on this forum have missed a point that JP was making when reviewing the Jeep. He said it was great off road (out in the fields I think is what he said) - but pointed out that he was reviewing it's on-road performance since that is more than likely where the vehicle will spend most of it's time. I agree that the review is his opinion - but then what review is not the opinion of the reviewer.

I actually found the crash test quite interesting. Recently my mother who drives a Mitsubishi Pajero (about the same age as the one they used) was hit by someone in a Ford Ka at fairly high speed (110km/h zone on the freeway). Mum had slowed down to avoid a tyre blowout from a truck further up the road and the person in the Ka obviously wasn't watching. They hit mum which sent the Pajero into a spin (she reckons it went round 4 or so times - luckily not over :) ) with only a bit of a dent to the rear bumper. The driver of the Ford Ka had to be cut out and they reckon only survived due to air bags. The Ka was totally demolished.

Well that'smy input for this weeks episode :)

I guess thats why it have never been a hard question.

I think he sounds like a teacher for children who can't pronounce words correctly. Like he's trying to educate the viewers into speaking pro-per-ly.

It's actually quite funny when you think about there's 2 presenters out of 5 in a car program, who has car names.
Tom Ford
Jon Bentley
:)
