What the hell r u on bout. RS6 better than an M5 lol, its the greatest performance saloon in the world, it an undisputed fact, always has been and always will be.

Audi always play the follow up, went round an Audi delaership the other day, they ALL look the same apart from the TT which is just wearing badly now.
 
I couldn't care less. All the numbers in the world couldn't make a BMW cool. And what's the deal with that tit in the middle of the dash? As for performance, I think all those cars can deliver approximately 10000% of what the buyers can cope with anyway.

Out of all the german 'prestige' brands, Audi is the only one which hasn't got MAJOR image issues. They still make pretty cool cars that won't make you feel embarrassed when you're spotted behind the wheel, and that's the big point here.

if you're talking about performance figures, you're absolutely wrong about it. M-badged cars are always seen/taken as a benchmark to measure other cars. And they are specials in such a way. not like Mercedes AMGs which I couldn sense they are desperate in making all their models AMGs.

If BMW has a bad image in Norway, I think you should think of it as a whole. Not just because crooks drive BMW, u gotta hate it. bummer.

oh? tit? you mean the iDrive? BMW has put it a good way since ALL manufacturers follow their driver-oriented dash layout, so they decided to make their dash minimalists. which is bold but a good move. so if you're gonna compare BMW's iDrive, you gotta compare it with other cars with has the similar tits.

Well, I cant denied that most ppl in most countries drives BMWs, so maybe some of you couldnt make your M-cars that special since so many are using it (applicable to M3s). These kind of things couldnt be stopped since so many crazed for M3s & M5s. for those who dont, its sad...just sad.

Well, i know that Audi's image isnt as MAJOR as BMW & Mercedes, but
I couldnt denied that right now Audi as improved a lot. in terms of performance wise, looks, superb interior, great diesel engines, etc. Infact, Ive also started to like Audis too. But in my heart, there can be only an Ultimate Driving Machine. And that is BMW. :)

M5 for life. :)

What I'm saying is: Performance figures just don't matter at all when they pass a certain point (which these cars are all way beyond now). I guess number crunching can be fun and all, but when it comes down to real life all the prestige sports saloons out there are tight as they come and perform way better than you need or want. Split seconds off the 0-100 time just isn't a valid argument anymore, so it's 100% down to individual taste in styling and image. I won't believe for a second that neither car is a horrible drive lol.

I said I don't like it, and I don't. You like it, so good for you ;) Taste is individual. I'm sure it's a great car, I just don't get excited about it, and I'd rather have another car given a choice.

I'm talking about the iDrive as an aesthetical disaster in a potentially decent-looking cabin. How on earth could they slap a giant plastic lump like that apparently randomly across the top of the dash? I don't mind a little gimmickry, I DO mind the way that huge lump destroys the potential good looks of the cabin. Why on earth couldn't they have put it in the centre console or something? :cry:

Oh well, I'll never have either so I'll just lay it to rest.

well, though the M5 is my fav car, the new RS6 will sport a BI -Turbo V10 ~ 600 BHP ;)

Be carefull what you say. It's not certain wich engine the new rs6 will have. It's not even certain wich the s6 will have. The s6 is being tested both with the rs4 engine (high revving 4.2 V8 FSI) and V10.

Niiice, I think they'll prolly go with the 440HP V-10, but I read somewhere that the Gallardo's V-10 didn't fit in the engine bay of the new A6...even tho they had planned to use it for the S and RS versions. But they may go with the 4.2 litre too cause it's lighter, and revs high... :)
Can't wait to see the final version. :D
