Looks like there is already some debate about this but I'm fairly sure this is halcyon days, by orbital (not the remix halcyon + on +on, the remix starts with the background music, not the voices, whereas the original does not) but you never know with their sound engineers.

ps, first post, love top gear music and I love what you're doing here, keep it up!

Here is an up to date list... with some corrections, additions (added another Air song and the Van Helsing music) and the rest of the timecodes that contain unknown music. 38:08 - 38:38 - A bit of a slow orchestra piece..kind of a sad sound.
40:47 - 41:11 - A bit of a drum and bass bit..can't really put my finger on what it reminds me of..

Any help would be great!

EDIT: Also...in the Inhaler bit (1:46-1:48 )..there is a bit of Craig Armstrong - Ruthless Gravity...not sure if it was a bit that was in Inhaler.

And I confirm that 37:11 - 37:43 is Orbital - Halycon, but I have the (& on & on) version.

Good ears.. but yes it is still a part of Inhaler. If you listen to the end of the track on the album you will hear some of the Ruthless Gravity synth already there.

Hello! Nice to meet you all. I?ve registered in the forum because I?ve just read your post about this song. I?m also looking forward to hear that song since it appeared for the first time in one episode years ago, but seems that nobody knows it. It?s a great theme,hasn?t anyone except Lonewolf realised it? So please,help us, I?m sure I?ve heard it before in a tv programme or perhaps in a film.
Edit: I?ve just rembembered,this theme is from a tv spot,something related about cars,a petrol company perhaps?
