The team honour the best car of the year at the annual Fifth Gear Awards, there?s a chance to win the Car of the Year and Jason Plato test-drives the brand new Lamborghini Gallardo SE.

I can't recall a bad "Fifth Gear Awards" episode so I'm looking forward to this one
Now they have about 45-minutes to play with so maybe we will see more award segments.

Oh and the Gallardo SE is sooo good looking I can't wait to see it!! I woulda prefered Tiff in it cos Jason pisses me off now for some reason.

Plato is average to me. he is a damn good driver, and he tells you what you want to know. but he doesnt have the charisma of Tiff or the humor of Tom.

I mean, if they made it the Gallardo SE, for example, then had to give that away as a competition prize...

Ok, I still haven't watched the last 2 episodes...

But I bet in a hot hatch. And if the ST has received a lot of phone calls, they could probably award it, and give one again. I might be wrong, though, and it can be a very different car, and they can give away an older version of the winner...

I thought they gave away one of those last year? I know the GTI won their car of year and I think they had this competition last year so using your logic it probably won't be that. It should be a car they have already tested though (I think all the cars in car of the year last year had been tested that year by FG) and I can't remember them testing the Caterham CSR so if that haven't it probably won't be it either. I'm not sure though, i can't remember all of last season.
