1 Browser per post game

I thought Emacs was just a text editor, and all of my research shows the same. What am I missing?

It would be easier to say what emacs can't be made to do

Basically, if you want to do it, somebody's probably written a mode for it.

At work, apart from general web browsing (ironically), I use it for almost everything.
 
First of all.... wtf? Emulator of some kind? Or do they actually make that native?

emacs is a great operating system except it comes with a lousy text editor.

By the way if you get stuck in emacs remember to press CTRL+ALT+~+Q+R+X+Z+F+!+ZARG+55 to enter the main menu. To quite hold the following at the same time: CTRL+ALT+CAP LOCK+0+ESC+*+A+M+D, then jump up and down 3 and a half time while saying Richard Stallman's name backwards in didactic hexameter.

If you aren't a raging hippy use vim .

I have gotten stuck in both.

Emacs: command for exit displayed on-screen (control+x?)
vim: nfc, coukdnt get out of it to save my life. later learned the key sequence is escape, colon, q.

vim is great as long as you know how to use it. if you don't you're fucked.
