I'd seem camoflauged versions of the 1-Series M circling the web for a few weeks now, but I think this is the first we've seen of it undisguised. Apologies if this is old news.

It looks fap-worthy to me.

It's still going to have the same overall body proportions as the standard 1-series, so it's still going to look generally awkward to me, but I can't deny that it will likely be simply fantastic to drive.

It's hard to tell for sure, but I think that 85% of the car's surface area will be composed of either wheel arches or greenhouse.

Which actually is a bit awesome.

Best part is - no automatic option. Manual only.

I want it in hatchback :/ The Coupe version always looked weird to me..

Not that I could afford either way.. :p

Meh, the front is a bit busy and the styling in the back is ugly as--

Oh, who the hell am I kidding? I would buy one of these in a heartbeat if I could afford it. :(

Call me crazy, but I think this looks much better proportioned than the current 3-series, for instance.

I'd take this over a RS3 any time.

I like the new "Powered by BMW M" sticker on the N54. Almost makes it an M engine.
Yeah, I don't like the new direction the M engines are headed. It's a great engine with good tuning potential but I don't think it's exclusive enough for an M.

other stuff can be seen here: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=463733

I think the price is quite reasonable for what you get. It looks, drives and probably sounds much better than the 135i. The LSD is a huge +.

A bit too loud and in your face. I remember when M-cars were subtle. Gone are the days. The next M3 will probably have huge MPower streamers hanging off the back, flapping in the wind as it drives.

I want red, white, and blue streamers coming off the the side mirrors, like this:

That said, except for the totally-overstyled front fascia, I really like it.
