In the Britcar section, the Stig is introduced and there is approx. 25 seconds of music, hard to describe it, any ideas what it might be? For those who remember, it was also played when the Stig did the Ford GT power lap. I'm not sad, I just really want to know the song :) thanks

In this version of the Fiat 500 vs BMX Bikers posted by Top Gear on Youtube, the song beginning at 5.00 which plays nearly right through to the end is different from the ones stated above, anybody know it?

OMG,,,the tune I've been trying to find for AGES is on this clip!

Starts at 0:28 all the way thru til 1:27.

It's played on a lot of Top Gear episodes but I've never been able to find it on this forum, which is why I joined in the first place!

Can anyone PLEASE help to ID it for me?

Any music different from the original broadcast can be found at www.extrememusic.com. This one is likely there, I would search for anything containing "piano."

Thanks for your advice.

I've browsed that website, but it's almost impossible to find anything with such a vague search term like 'Piano'.

I can't believe that piece of music hasn't been mentioned somewhere before on this forum as it's played in an aweful lot on Top Gear :(

It hasn't been mentioned here before, because this forum is primarilly for finding music from the original broadcasts. This piano tune has never been used in the original broadcast, all other broadcasts can be difficult to ID becuase they contain a lot of non-commercial production music.

I am pretty sure it Has been used in a few original sunday night BBC2 broadcasts, especially in more recent series, that's why I'm suprised I haven't been able to find it yet.

OMG. I went to ExtremeMusic.com and found the name of the song.

It's called Bliss-o-gram. XCD140 - Deep Chill.

Cheers!

Sorry to be late to the party, but I was searching for it too.

Bliss-O-Gram by Uncle Black

Thanks for the extrememusic link, I was fairly lucky and found it in a few minutes. There it's in xseries album 140, no. 4.

I think theres an error here? Watch this clip at 5:00, and from 5:30 onwards its there throughout, and listen to that upbeat, electronic, race music. The clip is this:

WHAT IS THAT SONG!?! Amon Tobin is great, and whoever does the sound for TG has brilliant taste in music. But the songs listed around that area don't match!?

I just watched a rerun of this episode and it looks like they replaced one (or more) of the pieces when Jeremy is talking about the Ascari A10. In the original broadcast version it's "30:57 - 31:42 - Venetian Snares - Room 379", however, in the (German) rerun it isn't. Can somebody help me find the name of this choral piece, I looked pretty much everywhere and Shazam won't help me either. It's just a poor recording I did with my phone but it's all I got to go on. You'd be my personal hero if you could tell me the name of the song!!
