The tinkling piano snippets in the Alfa review (01:29-01:43 first, then 02:40-02:51) are from the song "Sons Of" - I would guess the version by Scott Walker, though it was originally written by Jacques Brel (and titled "Fils de") and has been recorded many times, usually with the same piano part.

It caught my attention as well. It sounds like a reworking of The Host of Seraphim (Dead Can Dance) from The Mist OST. Whether or not this version is part of the OST I don't know but it definitely sounds a lot like it. I can't remember the last time I sat all the way till the end of the credits stunned just listening to the gorgeous music. Is there a bigger word than haunting...?

Me2. I love DCD, but I wasn't sure. Time for a rummage thru my collection. Haunting is more than a word. It eats into the soul....I'll not rest till I know!

Josef, I think you're right....just tuned into DCD Wake Disk 1, and if it isn't, it's pretty close....and thanx for reminding how great Dead Can Dance are/were.......

If the DCD track that everyone's looking for is the one at 5:10, then it's certainly Lisa Gerrard but it's "Aria" from the Layer Cake soundtrack :)

Heard Lisa Gerrard - Aria during the Alfa review. Its from Layer Cake.

I'll get a time when I get my rip.
