I'm surprised that he was using his odometer to measure his speed. I usually use the speedometer, but I suppose using the odometer and a stopwatch works too.watto said:A cop car that has an odometer that only goes to 128mph? What POS are they driving??
And good on the judge for being sensible about it

POS indeed! Cortesy of either GM or Ford.
128mph around here would get you, besides the customary red and blue light show, a couple of helicopters, a couple of dozen of cop units, and a good old-fashioned beat-down by one of the laziest cop forces in the worlds.
Police Vics are limited to 135mph and have 140mph speedos though, so it must have been another car, possibly a FWD Chevrolet Impala.p0w3r said:watto said:A cop car that has an odometer that only goes to 128mph? What POS are they driving??

prob. a ford crown vic...police crown vics have a shorter gear ratio for better acceleration but worse top speed..plus they are underpowered and heavy.
my 240 has only a 120 mph speedometer which is weird bc stock it goes faster than that. ive gotten to like 125ish when my 4800 rpm rev cutoff in 4th gear comes inwatto said:A cop car that has an odometer that only goes to 128mph? What POS are they driving??
