[13x03] July 5th, 2009

I'm shocked. I came on here just to post that since I figured nobody else would know that and sure enough, somebody already knew!

I knew it but figured the many NIN fans online, some must love TG and figured it would be done.

While I'm here, I didn't get the rip used for the time codes. The piece around 2 minutes using the Night on Bare Mountain sample, which of the two tracks played around then (it was around 2:18 it finished on my copy) was it? I MUST HAVE IT!:)

Whoever picks the music for the show, if you're reading this, your choices are fantastic!

47:48 - 47:56 is a yet-unreleased mix of NIN "The Day the Whole World Went Away" by Danny Elfman, used in the last Terminator Salvation trailer. judging by the fact that Top Gear's production team have got their hands on it, and the rumors circulating round related forums, I'd say this mix will be released sometime soon. or perhaps with the DVD/BD towards the end of the year.
if you really want that mix bad, there is a really good mix that is pretty much identical by "RavenTheSky" over at the official NIN remix site (all are free to download and distribute)

More often that not, I've seen the artist listed as 'Various Production'

I immediately thought "I Put a Spell on You" by Screamin' Jay Hawkins, which, I might add, was heavily sampled in "Sixteen".

"Heavily sampled" = "ripped off." I was thinking the same thing, and I still claim it's Screamin' Jay Hawkins' "I put a spell on you." But that's because I'm a grumpy old man.

Hi

Does anybody know the piece of music that was playing during the slo-mo (mid jump). The piece where the hurcules, bike and car were all in the same shot?

Cheers

Can anybody help me with this? When this episode was aired in the USA the main song used in the Ken Block Airfield rally was not ES Posthumus but an updated song (I guess it was changed from the UK airing). Does anybody know what this new song is? It was also used VERY BRIEFLY in a following episode when they talk about Lanciers. Any help would be gratefully received!

I also REALLY want to know what this song is. It's only in the US airing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFF2bkiHNVQ - about the 0:36 mark if this is the same song you're referring to) but it's a killer track. Anybody, please?
