I don't know why Jeremy was acting weird around the XFR.

It definitely holds its own against the M5.
Cheaper and better on the road, its definitely the better buy if you aren't a hardcore track addict.

I remember that, he had two old Rovers, one powered by petrol and the other powered by poo. The poo powered car lost. :|

Weren't there three - one powered by petrol, one by cow-poo methane, and one by human-poo methane? May spending the following studio piece with a calculator, and asking "how much for four humans" :)

A very low 7 at best. Same old, and too scripted.

I skipped over the pathetic RR thing. Why ruin a perfectly good greenhouse?

The only thing that made me laugh was when Richard said "Here comes that Oliver Penis guy"

My favorite of the season so far, 8/10.

That RWD in the snow scared me, not sure how my new Miata is going to handle the Chicago winter now..

And yet I laughed my tits off at the greenhouse skit, but found the play on Olivier's name an obvious and hence unfunny comment.

I'd love Clarkson to do a special on Global Warming/Climate Change, presenting scientific fact to discredit the BS propaganda spouted by greedy governments, and supported by corrupt scientists with a vested interest. JC and Ian Plimer need to talk ;)

8/10

Fairly solid episode. The start of the cheap car challenge was very good. The Jag review was nice as well, I would definitely take it over an M5 (said that last week about the Panamera lol). I think it's a nice modern fast Jag. Not as stylishly badass as the XJR, but still subtlety cool. SIARC, heh, as usual. The rest of the cheap car challenge was great too.

But it wouldn't be TopGear without some idiotic bullshit, so they had to destroy the poor Marina, even after it beat the other 3 cars. It looked kinda cool with those white rally wheels.

Best of the series.

Hahaha, most enjoyable episode. Nice to see a 300zx was picked, shame about Hammonds targa roof, hahaha.

I laughed so hard right at the end, I thought the clip was just going to end, ahahahaha. Rest was great also.

9/10, one of the best this series.

"I've got so much torque I could tear a hole through time." Really solid episode, enjoyed all the segments but the greenhouse bit (thought the wind up was a bit long).

I watched this episode and spent the next 2 hours on Jag configurator building
myself Jags.
I really can't decide on this one and I've watched it twice.
I'm surprised at how many people have posted that they think it's the best of the series so far.
Sienna Miller was far more entertaining than I expected. Glad to hear she got back at the paparazzi, they sure have harassed her enough.

Great ep, but even more importantly, amazing soundtrack this time around!

Oh that was properly excellent. I love a good cheap car challenge. I'm seriously impressed they kept the Morris Marina out of the press all this time! We all knew they were going to the ski resort and had seen pictures of Jeremy's and Richard's cars but not a single leak of James'. Big smile. The Jag review was nice, the greenhouse thing amusing, SIARPC was on the good side of usual. I didn't fidget the entire hour and was surprised when the credits rolled that it was already over. I love Top Gear.

Much improved over last week. It wasn't amazing, but entertaining enough. The challenge was amusing even though they've completely given up trying to keep track of points and pick a winner, and the real ice racers were amazing. The greenhouse thing was stupid, but not nearly as bad as the V8 garbage from last season. The XFR review was OK, but I agree with those who say that they NEED to do more reviews out on real streets like they used to! Anyway I gave it an 8.

6 for me. I liked the first bit of the RWD challenge, the second seemed a little pointless. The XFR review seemed a little empty and lacked conclusion. What about Jeremy's view on whether it's a good Jaguar or not, rather than if it's better than the M5? The carbon dioxide thing was a joke too far for me, really.

Watched it from Hessmo.com since BBCA really sucks at new episodes.

Much better then last weeks.

Does anyone know who the bagpipe artist was that the Stig had while driving the new Jag around the track? I couldn't understand Jeremy when he said who was completely. Bix or something? Bing didn't yield results...

I gave it a well deserved 8. Great challenge, good review, although the RR thing just didn't flow. The news has always been my favorite part of the show and it certainly didn't disappoint. Loved James' little double entendre - cracked me right the hell up. Even the SIARPC was interesting. I also agree with Ironlord about Terry Thomas. When Jezza said Jaag, it was the first person I thought of.

Shame there's only two eps left.
