Trying to find this track [46:42 - 47:33] is proving to be somewhat ellusive, definatley doesn't sound like a modern piece - reminds me of man from u.n.c.l.e/John Barry but cannot for the life of me place it. Shazaam has drawn a blank!

It's The Train, from the soundtrack to the 1965 film Von Ryan's Express, by Jerry Goldsmith. It's available on the Jerry Goldsmith at 20th Century Fox CD box set.

25:21 - 25:37 sounds a lot like Unforgettable by Nat King Cole. Perhaps it's some version of it.

Julian,

I have no idea how you managed to pull that one out of the bag but I salute your musical knowledge :D

thanks very much

Trying to find said track but can only get it if I buy the cd box set, $148 for a 2 minute track is a touch steep!

01:31 - 02:05 - Philip Glass - Resource

I'm sorry but the song between 1:31 and 2:05 is NOT Philip Glass - Resource.

Phillip Glass is a classical composer whereas this song is clearly electronic.

I would really love to know what the song is, if anyone knows.

it IS Philip Glass. you're not watching the original broadcast.
please read the text at the bottom of the tracklist:

This listing contains music from the original BBC broadcast version,
all other versions (Dave, Youtube, TopGear.com, et al) have replaced music.
If you are looking for music from these alternate versions, most of it can be
