Hi ssreverb,

Long time lurker here, figured now is as good a time as any to actually get involved on these forums!

Anyway, I just wanted to point out that this particular piece of music is actually from Ramin's track 'There is a God in you' (I believe it's used towards the end of the India Special too). He uses the same theme in a number of songs, but what plays at that part is definitely not from Release the Kraken... I'm a big fan of his music and I could spot that bit anywhere!

Hmm, I see what you mean. To be fair, the piece they used is also a more or less perfect match for 'There is a God in you' from the 57 second mark in that song too. They just cut the end and splice in a different part to end the piece (doesn't really help having JC mumbling on over the top of it too). I don't think one can really pin it to either song for certain without hearing it from the horses mouth at BBC as to which one they sourced it from!

I was surprised though to hear these two tracks used so much throughout the special - they're really great pieces of music, but I can't say they suited traveling through Bombay... Bombay isn't really 'epic' enough I think.
