(from Peugeot/Citroen) Looking unlike anything else on earth, an amazing one-off version of Citro?n?s C2 VTR supermini has landed in the UK ? and it?s worth a staggering ?108,000! With a similar value to that of a new Ferrari 360 Modena, this alien-esque C2 is the culmination of six months work by renowned modification specialists, SQ Plus.

Loaded with ?22,000 worth of stereo equipment from sound system experts Alpine, including 20 speakers and 8 subwoofers and 11 amplifiers, the futuristic C2 by SQ Plus belts out an incredible 15,780 watts ? similar to an average nightclub ? guaranteeing that it?s heard before it?s seen!

Incredibly, the transmission tunnel has been cut out to provide a smoother floor and allow the fitting of an F1-style single centre seat with aircraft-style steering wheel. The door mirrors have been replaced with pod-mounted cameras transmitting to TV screens across the dashboard, while the rear view mirror is also replaced by a further camera located in the rear wiper mounting.

On the outside, the C2 by SQ Plus has also been radically modified ? even the filler cap has been moved! A Cituning wide arch body kit, twin Powerflow exhausts which emerge from the front bumper, 20" chrome alloys and Mr Chilli?s air bag suspension have all been added while the coup de gr?ce is the stunning silver re-spray with airbrushed paint finish worth ?15,000.

Phil Leach, Managing Director of Manchester based SQ Plus said: "We set out to build the most unbelievable car out there, using a model that people can both relate to and afford. It was an easy decision to go for the Citro?n C2, which is without question the new Saxo and the next big thing in modifying."

Anyone thinking of buying a new C2 will be relieved to find that the original VTR, with alloy wheels, alarm, CD player, remote control central locking and ABS with EBD and EBA, is available for almost ?100,000 less than the SQ Plus version, at just ?10,095 including Citro?n?s current cashback offer. On top of this, one year?s free insurance is available for customers aged over 21 who buy via the Company?s Elect 3 Finance scheme. Prices for the rest of the range start at under ?6,500.

You really think this also applies for Belgium? :)

Anyway, both the stock and the custom car look like shit. Although, the customisations here are so extreme I have respect for the amount of money, work and skill that's into this car.
Not so for all the other 1337-wannabe's who "tune" their C2.

edit: like this one:

no, that's why i wrote "if i were english" in between the brackets.

but i've been thinking, over here citroen pays you BTW/TAV/... whatever it's called in english. that's 21% of the price of the car, that might be even more than the insurance they give you i think

darn, must have overlooked your "if I were english". But indeed citroen has some nice reductions over here too.
