2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe (no longer a concept!)

With an 8.3-liter 500-horsepower V-10 engine, the Viper SRT10 Coupe accelerates from 0-60 mph in less than 4 seconds, and is capable of 0-100-0 mph runs in the low 12-second range. Mr. Knott describes the vehicle's performance as, "outrageous."

I used to be obsessed with Vipers before the dark side (German cars) took me. But I still have a soft spot for the old snake.

To be honest, it looks hideous on the pictures, but many cas do. Once you see them in person they look better, well most do. I can see the Viper for myself in a week or two(NAIAS) and then i can say if it looks good or not.

Damn thats nice, though i still don't like its monsterous 8 liter engine...though would it be better with a small engine with a turbocharger? Naaaa...Dodge wouldn't do that to a VIper, nevertheless, it would be a supercharger

Dark, it'd be more valves...it's still using 2 valves per cylinder. Just look at what PVO can do with the Viper when it's massaged a bit. 625 horses anybody? lol Viper Carbon Concept baby!

The Z06's probably gonna beat this one though. Dodge is waiting for a confirmation of the Blue Devil to really push the Viper. Also, big power boost and next gen Viper expected in '07-08 :shock:
