Here are pics of the new IS. I watched the live stream of the unveiling last night hoping for something nice. It's just a Scion tC sedan. Give me the current one, thank you very much.

First pic reminds me of the new 2006 Focus.
Second pic reminds me of the 2005 BMW 5series.
And the third pic reminds me of the Honda S2000.

But, looks good!

The tC is a nice car and all, but it's a $17k car, not a Lexus. I wish they took a different route in designing it, oh well.

I really like it, though the rear is a dead-ringer for the new Sonata:

I like it as well... very similiar to the new 5-series... but I prefer the new GS better... supposed to be launched this year... haven't heard much about it though
 
on the first 2 pics it looks great, but head on, the hood is to high and to narrow, and the lights look weird :S
 
Looks a lot like the Mark X sedan in Japan. I think it looks rather nice. :D
If it gets Toyota's 256hp 3.0V6 it should be a good drive, too.
 
dials are really sweet! hope there will be sportier models. is this gonna be made by toyota as well in the name of alteazza? the altezza had a good model called the RS200 hope they make a equivalant of that with a manualstick

From what I've read, I understand it will be a 2.5L V6.
 
the current model dials look like a chronograph watch.

imo we need some new engines made. mazda need a good engine imo apart fromt he rotary.

I meant as a replacement for the IS300.
 
japanese are slowly moving away from the turbo era... look at the new fairlady... 3.5l and 280hp... the new supra isn't going to be a turbo as well...
