Welcome to the 2007 Belgian Formula 1 Grand Prix. Round 14 of the championship and also the greatest circuit in the world, bar none.

We had a good race in Italy. A great 1-2 to McLaren after their tough weekend. But now to the legend that is Spa. Im predicting an unusual race result in Belgium and hopefully a very wet race.

Now for the questions. A bit out there this time, as it's can be an unpredictable race :)

1) How many cars will crash at Eau Rouge?
2) Wet or Dry race?
3) What will the Spy Case meeting during the week do to McLarens momentum?
4) Will Ferrari put all their eggs in Kimi's basket now?
5) Who will fill the podium?
6) Whats the best thing about Spa-Francorchamps in your opinion?

For those new to Formula 1, enjoy the greatest venue in Formula 1. This should be a BRILLIANT weekend. I love Spa-Francorchamps.

Let the discussion begin!!

I just love this track, hopefully we will have another exciting race here!

1) At Eau Rouge I say 2, but for the whole race I predict 5 cars will retire
2) Hopefully wet
3) Hopefully the punishment will fit the crime and not go over the limit by damaging F1 like Martin Brundle said.
4) No, I think Ferrari will treat their drivers equally till the end of the season
5) Kimi, Felipe, Lewis
6) Best thing about Spa is the high demanding track itself and the atmosphere of it.

We shall see in a week what will happen, Go Ferrari! hehe sorry

little early to tell if it'll be dry or wet, weather is different every day, can't predict a week in advance

weird it's only a week till they race, i haven't heard a single thing about it in the media, or haven't seen any advert

1) Haha, I want to know whether the entry speeds to Eau Rouge will be higher due to the La Source extention. Could see some action there
2) Hopefully wet!
3) Monza showed that the race team are not to be rattled by threats and scare tactics.
4) Difficult to say, I hope not.
5) McLarens and Ferraris. If its wet...anyone!
6) Its great to watch on TV, you can almost feel the atmosphere in your living room. It isn't one of those bland Tilkedromes that are increasingly becoming more favoured by F1. Plus I remember watching Spa 1998 on the TV and being wowed by all the action. 1998 was my first season of watching F1, and that race confirmed my thoughts that F1 was terrific!

Kimi has won the spa in the last two races there, but I don't know if the ferrari has the pace to keep up with McLaren. Remember how people said, canada USA monza would be ferrari's race due to their long wheelbase? hopefully it will rain.

1) Umm...3
2) Wet please.
3) Nothing, McLaren showed at Monza how it is affecting them.
4) Not if Schuey turns up for the weekend.
5) Kimi, Hamilton and Webber.
6) I'll find out this weekend, I'm a Spa virgin!!

This will be Mark Webber's 100th GP, so hopefully he has a good one. Go Webber!!

1. 2 max, it is easily flat in the current generation F1 cars.
2. Not sure, meteorology is not my forte
3. Well no-one knows what the verdict will be, if they get off nothing. Otherwise it could destroy the team....I sincerely hope not
4. No there is no point, their championship is next to gone.
5. Maybe a surprise given we could see a couple of engines go??? Not prepared to make a bet
6. The way it used to be, still an awesomely formidable circuit though.

I phrased that wrong. What I meant was the start/finish straight has been extended and La Source is now further down the road so the line into Eau Rouge is a bit different.

Great track because the flow of the land dictates the track. Not like these modern F1 tracks that are designed in a studio and built on land as flat as a pool table.

1) How many cars will crash at Eau Rouge?
-I'll say 0, they've been well behaved at the starts this year
2) Wet or Dry race?
-It'll threaten rain but will just stay dry
3) What will the Spy Case meeting during the week do to McLarens momentum?
-Nothing, the drivers seem motivated enough on a personal level
4) Will Ferrari put all their eggs in Kimi's basket now?
-No, but I don't think it will matter come the end of the season
5) Who will fill the podium?
-Alonso, Raikonnen, Massa. Hamilton is due some bad luck.
6) Whats the best thing about Spa-Francorchamps in your opinion?
-See the first part of my post

The old Eau Rouge was something very, very special!

It's easy to get fooled on television though, because the images just don't do any justice. When you're standing at the very bottom of Eau Rouge and you look up, you can see why the corner is still so feared. It is incredibly steep!

I'll be going again this year, so hopefully it will be raining all weekend :D

1) How many cars will crash at Eau Rouge?
A couple, mid-field where it gets crowded, and the Spykers out of embarrassment.
2) Wet or Dry race?
Getting nearer and nearer to autumn (fall), I say Wet!
3) What will the Spy Case meeting during the week do to McLarens momentum?
Well, they might not be there! - if there not it could be interesting, been a verrrry long time since McLaren haven't been in F1
4) Will Ferrari put all their eggs in Kimi's basket now?
I think there going to have to
5) Who will fill the podium?
I say, Kimi, Alonso, Hamilton (maybe)
6) Whats the best thing about Spa-Francorchamps in your opinion?
It a hard track especially in the wet, makes for an interesting race

the race will be totally be moot if mclaren are thrown out imo.
