Except for Ron Paul, who is still a racist and bigot. Right?
Right.

I'd seriously consider Canada if she were elected, no joke. Canada is basically the same as the US except a little farther north and a little colder and I can handle the cold being as I'm only a few hours away any way.apparently we can look forward to another clinton in the white house .
if she starts to do anything that i think will screw up the economy more , i will have to look at my options .
am i the only one who is considering other countries ? does anyone else see the sun setting on the status of this country in the world ?
i am sad to see it but i feel like an observer .
btw , does anyone on this forum live in a country with no income tax ? how is that working out ?

New Hampshire has no income tax but it won't be that way for long if this Democratic sweep lasts much longer and our no sales tax will probably follow along with it, leaving there to be much to live in New Hampshire for.
I need to check but i think Brunei has no income tax. The only problem for you is..... you'll need to stop the drink

anyway , how is brunei ?
and just to keep relevance , i wonder how it is to live in a place where there are no elections .
At this stage it looks like you guys are down to a McCain / Clinton final.
I don't care for Clinton much, but I do agree with her universal health care plan. And it seems like she has the balls to push through the massive health care lobby there is now.
Oh, also I remember reading a story last election about whiny liberal democrats threatening to move to Canada if Bush was re-elected president. So some Republican wrote up a faux bill to utilize Military C-130s to ship the whiners free of charge to Canada. Darn, I wish I could find the link. Anywho, you don't want to be like that do you.
Brunei lives off the income of oil & gas. You are probably aware the Sultan there is the richest, or one of the richest people on the planet.
I've never been there but medical standards are excellent and free. Education is free but i don't know the quality and i believe the population there is quite well looked after. With regards elections, you don't need them if the people are being taken care of and remember it is a very small place so is quite easy to do.

Sorry - Atheist are causing problems in the US? Why are they going around knocking on doors annoying the hell out of householders trying to persuade them to not see the light? This should be stopped!
Atheism is the de facto religion of the United States.
Further more, Ron Paul is about as racist as he is communist.
Expanding upon that, supporting a candidate because they have a chance to win is asinine. How do you think we arrived at this mess in the first place? The American people in 2004 didn't vote for Bush, they voted against Kerry. With that in mind, any candidate not named "Ron Paul" nominated by the GOP will lose. John McCain is like a lite version of the Democrats, Mitt Romney wouldn't bring out the Christian base, and Mike Huckabee is a populist. None of these are consistent with what once were the principles of the Republican party.
If you really think McCain is just democrat lite then you really don't know much about him and have been listening to too much conservative talk radio.
McCain is a moderate republican but he is by no means liberal.
Romney pulled out today in his speech to CPAC, while almost the entire crowd was waving Romney campaign signs. Whether you want it to be so or not McCain is the Republican nominee.
No, John and Mitt don't get along at all.^ Trying to get the vice president birth, with McCain perhaps?
Many said that his speech yesterday was his best speech and that if he had been like that for the whole campaign things might be far different.
