2010 Chinese Grand Prix

I have to agree with Cpt. J, there. I read on the F1 website or some place that they wanted it to look like ? to signify rising power, spirit, money, and hardons

:wicked:

Anyway. Imagine if the Iceland business happened ~1 week ago. Could've been really bad for the race. EJ left it late so he probably won't be in the BBC broadcast.

Engine problem for Alonso. It's the Bahrain engine that overheated but still, it's another failure they don't need.

Astonishing accident by Buemi! Both front wheels came off under braking for the hairpin as the suspension collapsed.

Has anybody ever seen anything like that before?

Amazing.

Not exactly like that, but Kimi's car fell apart in Germany 2005 after he flat spotted his tire.

The Buemi crash:

I love the way he tries to correct the slide even with no wheels on the car...

Just caught Buemi's accident on the FP1 rerun before heading to work. A strange accident indeed, falls in the category of 'amusing until someone gets hurt'. Both of those wheels ended up in spectator areas which is very worrying indeed.

Buemi's balls just grew a lot harder from that, i doubt he'll be scared of anything at least for this weekend.

That's one of the most bizarre things I've seen in F1. I don't know how confident I'd be about hopping into a STR car this weekend!

That was one weird accident!

Very amusing though :p At least since he didn't get hurt :)

No EJ on the Beeb in China this weekend for everyone who's interested, apparently due to the ash cloud from Iceland he's still stuck in the airports of Europe.

I am amazed that a driver can say something like this and say he's fine...
Sebastien Buemi:
"There's not much to say about what happened in Free Practice 1," he recalled. "I braked, the wheels came off and that was it. Physically, I was fine though." Quote

That was just bizarre, and, indeed, it could have been very dangerous. I've never seen the suspension fail on both sides simultaneously before.

You still havent, as the suspension didn't fail.

^emergency kill switch i assume

(hence the big E)
