Really the only thing I'm wondering is whether the Kings will hoist the Cup at home or away. I don't see the Devils coming back from this the way they're playing.

I disagree, while I didn't get to watch game 3, one or two things go the Devils' way in each game, and they're the ones looking pretty.

Now that it's the off-season how bout some traditional speculation on the Coyotes' future in the desert? The City of Glendale is being sued by Goldwater over the arena lease they recently approved:

Since we don't have an off-season thread, Bolts and Preds trade Anders Lindback and some picks.
Good trade, gets the Preds back into the early rounds of the draft and gives Anders a chance to prove he's starter-worthy, something he was never going to get behind Rinne. Wish him well and I'll be following Tampa Bay closely next season.

Ah, yes, the offseason.
I forgot to post this from earlier in the month, but the Penguins signed Vokoun for 2 years and gave the Caps a 7th round pick in this year's draft.
Aside from the odd pattern developing of us taking the Caps' goaltending rejects, I'm bittersweet about the trade. I like Johnson as a man, but I have to admit his play suffered this season.

I think Tampa should consider tandeming, 2 average goalies. Saves salary cap and could work well

Sergei Bobrovsky traded to Blue Jackets for picks. Bob gets to fight for a #1 role, and Jackets are apparently ok with mediocrity in goal. Flyers took 6'5" goalie Anthony Stolarz with one of the picks.
van Riemsdyk for Luke Schenn. Schenn brothers are reunited in Philly, and van Riemsdyk gets a clean slate in Toronto.

Anyone got an opinion about why Shanahan didn't get elected to the Hall of Fame on the first ballot?

And Crosbitch was resigned to a 12 year deal worth $104.4 million... What are they going to do if he gets another concussion in a few years?

Well it doesn't affect cap hit so let him heal and see if he can still play. If he can't, that's just bad
