Right, two weeks until Le Mans and one week until official scrutineering starts in the Place des Jacobins in the center of Le Mans. The big event of the year in endurance racing is almost upon us, so... this thread should be for everything related to Le Mans itself now.
Entry list: http://www.lemans.org/wpphpFichiers...ans/reglements/2011-engages-24h-auto-2011.pdf
Scrutineering schedule: http://www.lemans.org/wpphpFichiers...ay-administrative-checkings-scrutineering.pdf
Timetable of race week: http://www.lemans.org/fr/courses/24h/infos-pratique/horaires.html
Weather forecasts at the moment predict relatively high temperatures, compared to the chilly nature of the test day. Audi were faster in the colder conditions at that time, Peugeot were faster at Spa on a hot day, so it'll be interesting to see how the balance swings between these two.
So... the major stories: Audi vs. Peugeot (round 16) in LMP1, everyone vs. everyone and his dog in GTE. Bring it on!
Personally, I'm backing the Pugs in P1 and the Porsches in GTE.
