Lancia is going to launch the new Y in December, '09. It's platform will be the same as the future FIAT Panda, so expect a car with 3,7 meters lenght, not much. For the first time, the Y will have 5 doors instead of just 3.

Looks sorta like a SEAT Leon.

BTW, for someone in America, could you explain something? Lancia, Alfa-Romeo, FIAT, etc are all part of FAIT. I know what segment Ferrari and Maserati are target at, as well as FIAT. What market segment is Lancia going after?

For its price, that interior looks excellent.

@Shentar: Lancia is supposed to be a niche luxury brand.

Lancia has no use in the FIAT line-up. FIAT just decided to buy and ruin them because they could. Now they make FWD crap boxes.

You're wrong. Lancia has an important part inside the FIAT group, like Skoda does in VW's. FIAT is the regular brand, Alfa is the sport brand and Lancia plays the accessible luxury brand. Is that hard to acknowledge something so simple?

Ah now it makes sense. So Lancia is like Buick and Mercury! :p

I'm liking these Lancia's. Very nice design language.

I don't know, that front looks like a Korean design trying to look sophisticated.

It is their attempt at a retro version of their old cars.

I didn't say the succeeded at it :p.

They tried to keep the grill. It has been shortened but it is there.

Or if Jaguar decided to try and design a Korean Hatch.

Originally, I was only going to mention the taillights, but the more I look at it, the more that analogy fits.
