Yeah, but now that he has...wow. How hard could it have been to simply extend the bonnet to the top of the kidney grills. I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason though.

Yeah, I don't understand why they leave such a visible line, the E36 3 series had the bonnet extend all the way to the front grill like you said, then the E46 generation incorportated the kidney grills into the bonnet, I don't think they did that with the E90 but I'm not sure.

On the E92 it extends up until the kidneys.
Looks a lot better than just a straight line which has now stuck in my mind.
