2012 Formula 1 Gran Premio de Espa?a Santander
... or the Spanish Grand Prix.
This three week break has been a long one! We're now less than 7 days away from the start of the action at the Spanish GP and even closer to practice and qualifying. Mugello testing is done and this is the beginning of the European season, so now we're breathing down on the classic tracks and locations. Most teams have made improvements to their cars, some hoping it will allow them to break down the gap that remains in the field. Other teams have made adjustments hoping to keep them ahead. The field is spread out. Four drivers from four different teams in four races have taken home trophies. It's an exciting year in Formula 1 and it's REALLY anyone's game right now. Whatever happens in Spain could give us a preview for the rest of the season. It's a can't miss race this (okay.. next) weekend!

Questions for consideration:
1. Pole / podium predictions?
2. With Mugello testing over, which teams will come out in the first race of the European season with significant improvements to their platforms?
3. Right now we're sitting with 4 different winners for 4 different teams. If another team can win this race, we will tie the all-time record of 5 different winners in the first 5 races. Who is most likely to be that winner?
4. Speaking of ... Lotus-Renault had a fantastic result in Bahrain with Raikk?nen in second and Grosjean in third. How will they do here? Raikk?nen does hold the lap record here!
5. We can all agree this season has been extremely exciting, even if our team hasn't fared well so far. We're approaching the fifth race with Mugello testing behind us. Do you think the field will tighten up now or can we expect this crazy season to continue as it has gone so far?
6. Predict this round's unexpected event!
