2014 Camaro Z28 attacks the N?rburgring Nordschleife

That said, the only car in the same "price range" is the Nissan GTR, a little more expensive than this Camaro, but I bet a lot better equipped and built.

Not to take away from Chevrolet, it's their thing to produce very inexpensive plastic cars with big engines.
Welcome to 5 years ago. I'm not GM's biggest fan but only a myopic buffoon would fail to recognize the strides their cars have made since the bankruptcy. And your comment about the GTR being better built than the Camaro is just an anti-American scree without anything backing it up.

I get that the Z28 is a track monster but at $75k, why not just get a lightly used '12 Z06 for $10k-20K less?

This much performance, this much rubber and this stiff a suspension is unusable on the street, it only really makes sense on a track. A regular SS is right around half the price and likely much more enjoyable to drive on a road. Super high end, factory race trim versions of inexpensive pony cars make no sense to me.
