This has not been a race for Ferrari strategy, Vettel lost his position after a killer start on Hamilton and Raikkonen unable to get past Bottas.

iirc they did?

vettel went medium - medium - hard
raikkonen medium - hard - medium

(i think - too early to find race-summaries)

So the thing that caused Alonso to retire was...a visor tear-off getting blocked in his brake ducts. Explains the brake problem and the overshooting of his pit box.

Huh, so those tear off's actually do get sucked into intakes and ducts. I have always been wondering if that wouldn't be a problem, but I guess it's higly unlikely to happen in general...

Well at least it's not another issue that McLaren have to worry about. Jenson's loss of traction I suspect is.
