I know, I know, 3rd party protest vote = good thing, voting with your conscience, etc.
It still feels fucking awful. I also can't tell anyone in my family who I voted for if I want my teeth to not get slapped out my mouth.
I kinda deserve it too: I thought, for better or worse, she had it in the bag, esp in PA. But she doesn't.
Many underestimated the sentiment of the rural, southern and midwestern voters Trump targeted with a laser focus. They're so upset with the US both from a cultural change perspective and a governmental perspective that even alleged sexual assaults didn't stop them.
Many figured the independents would go Johnson but a lot apparently were really Republican leaning anyway and voted Trump due to the same discontentment with government.
And now we're stuck with him. For. Four. Years.
I can't help but feel some regret.
